Topkapi Palace - a Historical Loveletter from Istanbul using Gold Mother of Pearl

Gold Pearl is one of the most beautiful inlay materials available. It has been used over the years in architecture, vintage musical instruments and furniture. When we traveled to Istanbul, Turkey we found a door adorned with Gold Mother of pearl in the Topkapi Palace. We originally found these is a magazine for Raffles Hotels which took me on a web journey to find these doors.
